Erie’s roots are in the coal mining and agricultural industries, though today this bustling town is comprised of friendly neighborhoods and a quaint Historic Downtown Business District. Conveniently located with easy access to both Denver and Boulder, Erie is perfectly positioned in the center of Colorado’s major metropolitan areas complete with an abundance of cultural, recreational and educational opportunities. The new Northwest Parkway with E-470 is just two miles from Erie, making travel to Denver International Airport a breeze.
